AMAMENTAÇÃO NA PRIMEIRA HORA DE VIDA: IMPORTÂNCIA E ÓBICES À SUA REALIZAÇÃO
Resumo
A amamentação já na primeira hora de vida deve ser implementada na rotina do ambiente hospitalar devidos seus efeitos benéficos relacionados à proteção, promoção e apoio ao aleitamento materno e consequente redução dos índices de mortalidade neonatal. Entretanto, em países de baixa e média renda como o Brasil, apesar dos benefícios já comprovados, muitas mulheres não seguem as recomendações da Organização Mundial da Saúde para iniciar a amamentação na primeira hora após o nascimento e uma parcela significativa de Recém Nascido saudáveis deixa de ser amamentada. Assim, buscou-se verificar, através de revisão da literatura, a importância e os benefícios que justifiquem os estímulos à amamentação nos primeiros 60 minutos de vida, os fatores que impedem a sua implementação, bem como levantar diagnósticos de cuidado relacionados ao tema. Para tanto, foram consultadas as bases de dados Scientific Electronic Library Online (SciELO), Biblioteca Virtual de Saúde (BVS), Google Scholar e Medical Literature Analysis and Retrievel System Online (Medline). Verificou-se que a amamentação na primeira hora de vida do Recém Nascido está associada a inúmeros benefícios materno-infantil desde o puerpério até a vida adulta do recém-nato. Entretanto, fatores como a prematuridade, baixo peso ao nascer, planejamento reprodutivo inadequado, protocolos institucionais do local de parto e, sobretudo a realização de cesariana podem afetar o início da amamentação nesse período crucial de vida, sendo a Sistematização da Assistência de Enfermagem pode ser efetiva para promover a amamentação precoce.
